What's a "REFUND RAFFLE"?
Each raffle in this series will run approximately 3 weeks. We hope that if you continue to purchase tickets in upcoming raffles, too, you'll eventually WIN one of our more extravagant items, but if you don't, you will at least take comfort in the fact that at some point, if you've accumulated receipts for more than $250 in ticket purchases,
we'll refund $50 of your raffle dollars directly to your own adoption group!

This lovely Blanket Chest was handcrafted of cherry wood with white ash inlay and lined with aromatic cedar especially for Greyhound Connection by Al Lapp, a woodworking hobbiest with professional skills! Al and Connie Lapp live in Corona, CA with their four greyhounds who are the obvious inspiration for Al's artistry in furniture making. The chest measures 36" long, 20" wide, and 21" in height.

Jerry & Cara Brockhoff will be attending the picnic and driving north from San Diego to Eureka the following day. They will deliver this cedar chest to any point within 25 miles of either their I-5 or 101 California travel corridor.

When Wally Lacey and Telma Shaw took the reins for the newly reorganized Greyhound Connection, they found themselves dealing with six returns and special needs dogs before they could even begin the work of bringing in newly retired greyhounds. Monies earned at the annual picnic and by this raffle will help to pay medical bills for those dogs and facilitate providing homes for more greyhounds coming off the racetracks.

NCG will cover all charges for PayPal and Credit cards used to purchase raffle tickets.
Tickets purchased online will be delivered to the picnic for the drawing.
Though this is a GC event and not an official NCG "Refund Raffle",
your ticket purchases WILL apply to any accumulated purchases qualifying for a "refund" from NCG.
