8Ball

8Ball is our Main Man- er...greyhound. Not only because he's so highly admired, but because his shape accommodates so many different uses. You'll see all three sizes of 8Ball often on our website, and an even tinier version as well - as in earring studs on this page.

The first, and original size is available as a charm, with a spring ring for affixing to your bracelet, and as the one shown here, with a fixed bail set perpendicularly. He measures .75" from side to side. $35. We do have both 14K Gold pendant and charm in stock for $300.

The Large 8Ball is available as a small broach and measures an even inch in width. $50.

XL 8Ball is a highly noticeable piece, measuring 1.25" across. You'll see him mounted upon some stunningly large jewels, or all by himself as in this picture with both hidden tubular bail for wearing on a chain or pin for wearing as a broach. It was one of our customers who insisted he have both- an excellent idea, too! $85.

Bangles (Reworked!)

We admired how each end of the square sterling wire encircled the other - and we purchased a number of these bangle bracelets. They were originally offered with an 8Ball charm for $40 each.

Unfortunately, they didn't sell well.

Let's see how you feel about these newly re-worked bangles to make them more .... uh.....bangly!

Now, a pair of bracelets are coupled by the rings which dangle 8Ball and a tiny Birgitt Bauble independently. Only one of the Gold Fill bracelets remain - we've still added the Birgitt's spot of sparkly color, but being a single bracelet, it is priced accordingly.

Brynn In The Pink

It's Rhodocrosite, actually, but its curving pattern makes it appear Brynn is about to take the curve at the end of the track (like Brynn ever saw a track!)

Family Tag Necklace

We're proud to offer you these new necklaces from a long ago friend of our daughter's - we're both proud of Zoe and proud to represent such quality workmanship, personalized just for you!

The 18" chain is a large link, and thus adjustable. Zoe's hand-cut and hammered, brushed-matte finished tag measures approximately 1" X 1.5" (actual size of both tag and letters used will depend upon the names you choose to include). Zoe says "unlimited letters" but she is not (yet) familiar with greyhound names, so please be reasonable!

You may include either 3 or 4 "kids" and unless you're particular, please allow the artist to choose order for best appearance. Of course if you prefer, you're welcome to order with tattoo numbers rather than names.

The silver chain being very slightly heavier than the gold fill chain, both colors are similarly priced.

Framed Greyhound Pendants

Flower Girl, 8 Ball, and Mike all reside within a similar sized frame measuring 1.375" including the bail. We've gathered these sterling silver designs together here to make it easier to choose among them.

Recognizing that most of you already have a collection of chains, we price most of our items independantly in order to keep prices down. Should you need a chain, however, we've got those, too!

Geodes

Geodes are always fascinating, with their colorful crystals secreted within such ordinary looking rocks- but I'd never seen them transformed into jewelry- like this pendant.

This is the last of the 4 we purchased. It measures about .75" across.

Glass Hearts With 8Ball

Colorful as they are, this little glass hearts will make a delicate statement whenever they're worn.

Impossible as it is to measure a round heart, you'll have to judge size by 8Ball, who is .375" across. An 18" Snake Chain is included.

Greyt Dog Tags!

What could be more obvious for greyhound jewelry than dog tags? Duh. Why didn't this occur to us long ago?

Take your choice of Mike or 8Ball, or purchase both and let them jingle together on the same chain as we do!

These sterling dog tags are 1.25" in height (if you don't include the bail) and comes upon a 16" bead chain. Add $3 for 18" and $5 for 20" sterling bead chain from which to dangle your tag(s).

I wish we had the capability of engraving them- but we don't. Personally, we like them plain- in a family like the Brockhoff's, if we engraved them, we'd have to wear seven tags!

No more 8Balls- for the moment. Will have more in August....

Hearts of Stone

Not really- 8Ball is a greyhound, after all- he's got a soft and mushy heart.

But the hearts which dangle from these earrings are of natural stone: onyx, jade and amethyst. They're guaranteed to brighten your day when you dress the morning!

Holly Yashi creates such beautiful jewelry that it's almost impossible to chose at the trade shows- I want some of everything!

We couldn't resist these delicate "Cascading (Swarovski) Crystal Necklaces", but even then, we had to select from seven colors! It's not an easy task photographing lots and lots of zipper pulls that do justice to Kelly's artistry. Each bead expresses it's own tiny pattern with colorful swirls, flowers, lumps and bumps which seem impossible to capture sufficiently without lighting reflection.

Of similar size (1.25" without the bail) and design, the lapis is a flatter stone and surrounded with a silver bezel, where the malachite stone is more of a cabochon and is fully encased in its silver backing.

Why oh why didn't we have these in time for Mother's Day? Oh well- for those of us with greyhounds, every day is Mother's Day, right?

This antiqued Sterling Silver chain is anchored in front with a heart and arrow toggle bearing three tags featuring your choice of names or tattoo numbers- like the Family Tag, this is another quality creation by our friend Zoe in Encinitas, CA.

Northcoast Dave

"No! Dave", our first greyhound, won our hearts over to retired racers long ago and well deserved to represent Northcoast Greyhounds from our very beginnings.

Even longer ago, the original, more exotic version of this design from which our logo dog evolved, was created by Anita Gersch- we didn't even know it at the time and now, all these years later, Davie is still making new friends for us!

We purchased four of these opals from Johnson Hui (yes, really!) - the same jeweler who provides our square sterling rings.

When admiring opals at another company, I was told they were Johnson's opals, too, and learned that he supplies half of San Francisco's jewelers with opals!

Those who wear one of these pendants should be happy to know it came from such an expert - direct from the source. The stone measures 7/8" X 5/8".

Unisex Square Rings!

We found these shiny silver squares, intended for both women and men, just too tempting to pass up despite the difficulty of stocking a variety of ring sizes. So we're experimenting with a limited selection.

All but one have graduated spaces like the ring on the left which seem to make Brynn look really FAST! The ring on the right, with spaces cut across its entire top, is a size 10, and an exception.
